In today’s vlog we hang out at home and try out a personal cooling device that we found on Amazon, Jackson faces his fear and we were so proud of him! We’re still not sure why he was afraid of the dial though. Then we transplant our tomato plants from the Aerogarden into a bigger pot, hopefully they live. Fingers crossed! We also make some delicious burgers for dinner and Tim drops some hints about what he wants for Christmas lol. Then we finish the vlog the next morning! We hope you had fun hanging out with us! Thank you for watching and we’ll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

  • I am watching this in November but I wanted to thank you both for talking about the Derecho - my family is from eastern Iowa and I was out of the state when it happened. It was truly awful because nobody was talking about or aware of the storm outside of the state. Iowans are used to tornadoes and severe weather, and everyone I know says this was the strongest storm they've ever experienced. Cleanup is still continuing now, in November, and most places lost large percentages of their tree cover. This is something people will remember and be affected by for a long time. So, thank you.

  • My area near Albany NY had a derecho a couple of weeks ago. I was insane I was in it because I had to get home to my toddler that had a big seizure. I made it home safe then we took an ambulance ride that should have been 20 mins it ended up taking an hour luckily everything was good. But that storm did immense damage. I had no clue they were comparable to a hurricane or tornado.

  • 6:02 I just wrap & put away mugs I've collected that I don't use anymore to make room for the new ones when I get them. Bed, Bath & Beyond has pretty extensive collection of mugs and tumblers that we like looking at whenever we go there. Some of them I've never seen anywhere else and I make sure to get those ones. I've tried those puffs and they're actually pretty good. Nothing artificial about them which is even better!

  • Saw the sunscreen you picked up to try. For our kids we use the Thinkbaby sunscreen. It's a really well rated mineral sunscreen. You can check out the ratings of sunscreens and other products on EWG.org/sunscreen. Also a tip for easy application of the sunscreen is the beauty puffs that you'd use to apply foundation. Works great to smooth it all out without getting the sunscreen all over your hands.

I ask her if she wants Goose Goose, she shakes her head NO. I pick it up and give it a hug. She still does not want it on, but she is getting used to it and sometimes pets her feathers, then comes to me quickly for a hug for reassurance. Its so cute. She is getting used to it and never cries so keep it out. Show him its not scary. Maybe just point to it and name it and tell him to wave hello dialey the smiley or something.

  • I used powdered creamer (don't like anything making my coffee any colder), but that creamer IS really weird, Jenn. And yeah - can't believe your coffee looked like it didn't even have anything in it. I almost always have either Greek yogurt (with maybe some berries) or some oatmeal for breakfast every day - and of COURSE - coffee - Choick Full 'o Nuts Upper West Side (dark roast) and Choconut (chocolate and coconut) mixed, with powdered hazelnut creamer - SOOOOOOO good!! I feel "off" if I don't have my coffee, or hat particular blend. Wow - Can't believe the roots on those plants! That arero garden is so cool! OMG - You melted my heart, as always, working together to help Jackson overcome his fear of the phone dial - great parenting!! Socially distanced hugs to all 3 of you from New Jersey! Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

  • Poor Jackson, not sure if this is what Jackson felt. However, there's something called tryophobia. It's the fear of small holes. Here's something I found on google. People with a fear of small holes have claimed the design of Apple's iPhone 11 Pro is triggering their phobia. ... And hundreds of smartphone users now claim the new design has triggered their "trypophobia", an aversion to the sight of clusters of small holes. Looks like he overcame it pretty quickly. Good job Jackson!

I also like that the baby bites on the silicone and not the frozen milk directly so it’s a little softer. My baby loves it! I hope that Jackson’s teeth feel better soon!

No more of that mystical poke-your-hand-and-poke-the-steak trick that never seemed to work for me.
