Please check out today's important link- National Down Syndrome Society-
In today's vlog we hang out at home and make a delicious cast iron skillet pizza! I'll leave the link down below if you want to check it out. Then we have some fun baby playtime with Jackson, we talk about some of his favorite toys and books right now. We've been working on sharing and continued our reading work. Then we talk about the shirts we made the other day at Uniqlo, some people were asking about the quality of the ink and how they look now that that they've been washed. We end the night with a look at some of the new masks we've been wearing and give our thoughts and reviews. We hope you had fun hanging out with us at home tonight! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

  • On your cast iron don’t wash it unless you have too then make sure you dry it really well. The more you use it the more it gets seasoned.

  • Hi guys! I think you must know this, but thinking of the mask you like the most, but don't feel safe with it, there's a way to check that. With the mask on blow a lit match if you can't blow it the mask is secure because if air can't go out neither can go in.

  • LOL @ Tim's ":thumbs down" photobombing about the mushrooms on the pizza. I love mushrooms - any way - raw, cooked, marinated. Dinner looked really good - sorry the quality of the food is gong down, you've had such terrible luck with your meal prep services. :( LOVE both of your Uniqlo shirts you made!! Yeah - I learned not to even buy those "shiny sticker" shirts - they NEVER last past even a few washes, even washing inside out, on gentle, and either drying on low to damp, or even hanging dry! Have wasted money so many times! :( :( Thanx for comparing the masks. Jenn - You can try "criss crossing/twisting your ear loops before you put the mask on (hope that made sense). I've found that helps in some cases. Supposedly the 1-layer "basic" masks aren't any good - supposed to be 2-3 layer. I love sour candy too, Jenn - but most of it turns sweet too quickly, like Sour Patch kids. Buy I used to love to go to a bulk candy place, and get sour straws, rolls, etc, until I had to stop eating that stuff - too much sugar in my blood, and metal in my teeth. LOL But my mouth is literally drooling heavily now, at the thought of some sour candy! LOL Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!!

  • Maybe try an electric pressure cooker to cook Jackson's food. Get one with a stainless steel pot because a lot of pots have chemical coatings that are not the healthiest. They are so convenient because you can cook things really fast and the pots go in the dishwasher. Instantpots are great but they have less expensive models. There's an Insignia on sale at Best Buy.

  • Can you guys spread awareness for PCOS as one of your time to help segments? It stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I was diagnosed with it a long time ago. It’s more complex than just having ovarian cysts. It has to deal with your insulin levels (can lead to diabetes), infertility, hair thinning, excessive weight & hair, and other things of that nature. Not a lot of people know about it and I think it’s important to shed light on this illness. It’s still considered new within the scientific community and there hasn’t been a ton of research about it. Oh, & it makes you more at risk for endometrial cancer. Thank you guys!

  • For moving Jackson over to solids don’t hold off on the seasons too long, don’t season his food as much as yours maybe, but they can have a little bit of flavour just to start getting them used to having flavour, the earlier you can do that the more successful you have for his eating as he gets older. Also there is a toddler meal subscription service, the meals come premade and you just have to heat them up.

I think, but don't quote me on this, she stored Ice for about 3 days in the cooler before it all completely melted. This took place in her house during the summer in Arizona and she never really opened it except maybe once or twice.

  • Skillet Pizza pro tip... Once the dough is spread out in the skillet, heat the skillet on the stove while you dress it with the sauce, toppings and cheese. Let it cook for 5 minutes or so before placing it in the oven for the recommended time. It gives the bottom of the pizza a nice crisp while still being softish in the middle. Best of luck! P.S- Jackson is adorbs!

My dad got a cloth mask from his workplace, while my mom insists that we keep reusing these disposable surgical masks. I tell her you're not supposed to do that, and she says that we do it so we can save the masks and not have to get more. I don't know why we just don't buy two reusable masks for me and my mom 🤷‍♀️
