In today's home vlog we start the day with breakfast with Jenn, then we have some baby playtime with Jackson! I like to give him all the toys and let him pick what he wants to play with and Tim likes to give him a couple of things to choose from, what do you do? Then Tim gets an angry little snake out of the pool! Be sure to check your pool for little creatures and critters especially in these hot Summer months, sometimes they'll go near the pool looking for water and get stuck. Tim gives you an update on his ankle and then we have a live show. If you were able to make it to the liveshow, thank you! And if you watched the replay later, thank you! Then we have lunch and take a quick car ride to get some pool supplies. It was nice to get out of the house for a bit and we wanted to make sure that Jackson is still comfortable with being in the car so we try to take him out occasionally, if we can. Then Jackson gets sick, we think he might have overfed because he was sleep eating, he was fine the rest of the night, so that's good! Then I clean up Jackson's toys and activity chair while Tim goes grocery shopping. When he comes home he makes a lullaby discovery! We found out that our monitor plays Jolene by Dolly Parton as one of the lullabies, we thought that was kinda strange lol. And we had a delicious dinner of sesame chicken. Then we put the baby to sleep and we ended our night talking about ghost stories, scary movies we watched, discussing "The Witching Hour", and umbrellas. We hope you had fun hanging out at home with us today thank your for watching and we will see you tomorrow with a new vid!

  • I know you guys had put this video out a while ago, BUT your one comment of not having rough light in Jackson’s room at night and his one table lamp being to bring. I have a solution for you!!! We purchased one of these light ‘eggs’ from amazon for our nursery and it’s PERFECT!!! Like the best $20 ever spent on amazon!!! It has a soft warm light that is dimable as well as a color changing light. And it’s all but touch so no switches to mess with or buttons to push to turn it on!

  • From my Christian perspective: I’ve heard that 3am is the witching hour because Jesus was crucified at approx 3pm. So the demons are supposed to be more active at 3am as a way to mock the crucifixion/Jesus’s victory over death in the resurrection. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just what I’ve heard!

  • I had an old man ghost speak to me of a warning in broad sunlight by the Mile Long Pier in StPetesburg when I was 15 and I also saw a ghost of an old, kind of pioneer like woman looking out of her home in Cassadaga Florida, out to see who was loudly laughing as a bunch of girls were passing. I was with a friend & we were doing the historic tour of the town when I saw the woman peering from the 2nd floor window, but the tour guide said the home was a vintage "Sears order by mail" home and no one could go upstairs since it wasn't safe anymore, and the only person living there was a card reader, man about age of 60...both times these ghost looked so real and alive that at frist you aren't scared because it seems so normal, then later you try to reason it out and then it isn't scary to me but just why me? I'm doing my family tree and while research in Ypsilanti, Michigan where I was born my grown daughter and I did a tour of the Historical Society, a beautiful 2 story red brick home built by a man for his new bride...we'd been there a long time, I didn't see anything but as we got back to the front door to leave I glanced up the stairs, still didn't see anything but I asked the guide if the house was haunted..he was shocked! Said he'd never seen anything but the other 2 guides had often seen a woman they thought was the home owner's wife. Once outside I looked back at the house and said good-bye to her and told her I didn't blame her for hanging around because it was a beautiful home and lot full of trees and right on the Huron River! I'd love to live there! ghost or no ghost!

  • You said you're going to hit the road. Come to Canada! I can suggest the east coast (Nova Scotia, P.E.I. or Newfoundland and Labrador, there's not much to do in New Brunswick so I personally don't suggest it) or going to Montreal/Quebec City, Niagara Falls (Canadian Side), Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Vancouver or Victoria. (Most people from Florida come up in summer because it is 25 Celsius (77 Fahrenheit) to 35 Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) depending on where you are! Since you guys are from the south and are used to warm weather I do NOT suggest going too far north as even during the summer it can be 5 Celsius (41 Fahrenheit) on average. Don't go any farther up north than I would say Edmonton (west coast) or Newfoundland (east coast) to avoid that type of temperature and you will have an AMAZING visit. (since you are used to Florida heat i suggest to NOT com to Canada during the winter as the average winter temperature in Toronto "southern Ontario" is -5 Celsius (23 Fahrenheit). You will want to stay forever after you come here. If you decide to come to Canada here are some tips and I wish you the best with your trip wherever you go!

Here is the link, you can stick things in it and it helps them learn how to eat solid food safely . :) You can get a different one whichever is better. But I’ve been wanting to tell you guys for a while, but I didnt know how to comment haha. My husband said I should let you all know and he helped me out. Haha :] they have other ones but this is what my mom used. :)

  • Jackson should not been having any night feedings at his age. You also shouldn’t clean his toys too frequently or he won’t have a good immune system. At a daycare or somewhere where multiple children are using the toys they should be cleaned weekly or daily but Jackson is the only one using them.

  • Oh the days of having just one kid! I remember having a tidy, organized house. I miss those days. Now we have a 3 year old and an 11 month old. Toys have over taken us. Just wait, in a year or so you’ll just have toys everywhere! Lol! So in regards to your ankle it is just a level 2 sprain. I did almost the exact same thing a month before you. Except I didn’t step off a curb I was merely walking and rolled my ankle in my driveway. It hurt so bad I started to blackout at first. My left ankle swelled up and bruised just like yours. The toes thing was kind of weird having it bruise there. A week later it still was the same size and hurt so I reluctantly went to an urgent care to make sure it wasn’t a fracture. It wasn’t. They told me if it was a fracture it would have been too painful to stand on. So basically if you can walk on it with minimal pain then its just a sprain.

  • I have seen so many ghosts during the day, but I would also consider myself more sensitive to that sort of thing. I’ve seen ghosts since I was small, my nickname when I was young was 6 because of the 6th sense because I saw dead people. You can see ghosts at anytime of the day and anywhere. I saw a ghost in bonchon the other day when I was eating lunch, it doesn’t matter at all. People just claim to see more ghosts at night because 1. Of movies and TV shows and 2. Because that’s when the most energy is built up ghosts thrive off of energy that people and electronics give off. So at night all of that energy has been stored up and ghosts/ spirits can use it to manifest.

  • So the way I've always known it is: 'the witching hour' is 12am (Midnight) and 'the Devils hour' (the time when supposed demons are more prevalent, in say demonic activity, possession and infestation) is 3am. that's why there have been cases like famous hauntings that included an apparent connection to demons which were said to have taken place at 3am or more specifically 3.33am. it's seen to be a subconscious sleep state and is the usual time that people experience sleep paralysis or a general feeling of being woken from their sleep because they've felt uneasy, or like somethings lurking. I think its kinda open to interpretation but that's the way I've always known them :)

She also got one to two small red spots on her face. After it happened twice I called her Dr and he said it was an allergic reaction/sensitivity. So we stopped giving her sweet potatoes until she was older. She was completely fine with them later on and still is. Im not saying thats what happening for you guys, but pay attention if it happens again with pears. Wishing you all well!!
